Works in development.

宿 (STAY)

Two skeletons are discovered in the dried up creek bed of a remote Australian farm: and the fates of three women, thousands of kilometres apart, become deeply intertwined. A new interdisciplinary theatre work, drawn from the real life experiences of the collaborating artists.

A collaboration with Singapore’s SAtheCollective, commissioned by Sydney Festival.

APARNA

Aparna (working title) is a feature film about a mother and her son – both dancers – separated during Sri Lanka’s civil war and years later reunited in modern day Sri Lanka.

Produced by Felix Media, with Community Partner Palmera. Development supported by Screen Australia.

THE JUNGLE AND THE SEA

A mother, in a time of war. She loses members of her family, one after the other – but she never loses hope. The Jungle and the Sea leans on two great pillars of literature – Antigone and the Mahābhārata – to forge a new story about surviving loss and the possibility of reconciliation.

Produced by Belvoir Theatre, in association with Lingalayam Dance Company.

WHEN THE TIDE COMES IN

An exploratory, multi-platform artwork immersing audiences in an imagined Australian future.

Teaser shows have been performed at Carriageworks and Riverside Theatres.
