How out of nothingness came

Water
Fire
Soil
Growth
And Us.

They told us of how we would grow
Advance
Build
Take over

Until there was no room
Until we forgot
Where we came from
That nothingness

They told us of how someone would return
To correct the balance

Is it you?
Is it you, little one?

If it’s not you, or her, or him
Then she will do it for us
Nature will return us to the nothingness

From which we came
And from which everything will come
